Phone numbers are the property of the customer. Local Number Portability is guaranteed by the FCC.

How reliable is the RAM Help Desk? - top
When you call the RAM help desk, you will get a friendly voice, never a recorded message. What's more, your problem will be solved. Our experienced staff of dedicated customer service professionals will ask you questions about what is occurring with your service, and provide answers that help you resolve the issue. If, for some reason, the issue cannot be resolved immediately, we will open a "Trouble Ticket." We will then work closely with your carriers to fix the problem as quickly as possible. We are so confident in our installation procedures that "Trouble Tickets" decreased by 19% in 2006, compared to the previous year.
How can I simplify equipment, providers, and processes? - top
The answer may be through high-speed Internet Protocol (IP). The protocol allows your main telephone equipment to be located at a central location, replacing your existing phone system. The solution accommodates a range of products, including local and long distance services; single inbox for voicemail, email and fax; call center features; dedicated internet access; and more.
How can RAM Toll Free Services bring me new business? - top
While many of you may already have an 800 number, you may still need other toll free services if you have more than one call center handling customer calls. Other uses include call reporting; additional toll free numbers that describe your company; and time-of-day call routing reports, among other capabilities. The wealth of options available with Toll Free is something your business may want to consider. Email info@ramcomminc.com or call 1-866-214-1122 for more details.

Is PRI something I should be concerned about? - top
You may want to consider the Primary Rate Interface standard if you have numerous direct phone lines, since the interface accommodates several hundred Direct Inward Dialing (DID) numbers. Each number rings directly to a specific party but does not require a dedicated line. This saves considerable cost while expanding capacity beyond traditional POTS technology.
I don't cook, so why do I need POTS? - top
With all of the new technologies in the marketplace, the one that continues to be the most reliable and well tested is POTS—or plain old telephone service. Because of its proven reliability and economy, POTS is the perfect backup solution to VoIP systems or any systems. It's hard to go wrong with POTS.
Is Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) the best solution for me? - top
Although VoIP is good for many businesses, it is not for every business. RAM can help you find out if the technology is for you. We have developed a checklist, so you can easily and quickly know if you are a candidate for VoIP technology.
How can Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) help my business? - top
In addition to moving traffic faster, MPLS makes it easy to manage a network for quality of service. For these reasons, the technology is ideal for growing companies with diverse telecommunications needs.
Aren't all Integrated T1 solutions the same? - top
In a word, the answer is no. If you are a growing company or need to change telephone systems often, contact RAM. We'll help you determine which solution will be best for the fast-paced environment in which you operate.
What is the best way to plan for Disaster Recovery with telecom? - top
We take for granted that our phone systems will always work, as we are so used to them "just working" all the time. But situations do happen, from natural disasters such as thunderstorms and tornados to construction projects that down power and phone lines. RAM continues to help companies with a back-up solution for their telecommunications needs, just in case.
